Lincolnshire’s award-winning Amelio Solar Energy’s Managing Director, Richard Jones, has become a board member at Solar Energy UK.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of our Managing Director, Richard Jones, to the Board of Solar Energy UK.
Richard, a Chartered Surveyor, joins the Board with a wealth of experience, having amassed over 14 years in the industry, riding all the ups and downs of the solar-coaster.
He is actively keen to help represent the rooftop sector of the solar industry, assist Solar Energy UK in promoting the industry, and continue to raise standards and increase educational opportunities.
Richard said about his appointment: “I am extremely honoured and proud to be elected onto the Solar Energy UK Board.
“I want to represent the day-to-day Solar PV installer because I feel that it is really important to be heard by policymakers, particularly at a time when there are lots of different voices pressing the Government to invest and promote change in all parts of society.”
“There are many growth opportunities, and I want to make a difference by helping us, as an industry, explore those for our benefit and address the real climate emergency.”
