Alpha ESS is a manufacturer of excellent quality mid-price range inverter and battery systems that Amelio Solar Energy has been installing since 2021.
The units are floor mounted and suitable for installing inside a garage or utility room or otherwise outside fixed to an external wall.
The range we install regularly is the Smile 5 inverter and battery system which features an intelligent modular design and 24/7 monitoring both online and via the AlphaCloud App.
It can be connected with either a 5.7kWh or 10.1kWh Battery. These are expandable up to 34.2kWh with the 5.7kWh Battery and up to 60.6kWh with the 10.1kWh Battery.

Flexible installation: floor-mount, indoor or outdoor. Charging from the sun in summer and charging overnight using lower cost off peak electricity in winter. Full App control. Up to 5 Batteries per inverter.
MyEnergi Eddi Immersion Heat Controller
Available in 4.8kWh or 2.9kWh units. This is an excellent DC coupled battery solution that offers: Easy connection with Fox ESS Inverter system. Flexible installation: floor-mount, indoor or outdoor. Charging from the sun in summer and charging overnight using lower cost off-peak electricity in winter Full App control. Up to 7 Batteries per inverter – minimum of 2 batteries are required per inverter.
