Amelio Solar Energy have installed at Lincoln Commercial Bodies which has over 250 years of coach building experience. With an annual electricity demand of over 77MWh’s they have seen their bills increase annually and felt they needed to do something about it.
They first contacted Amelio Solar Energy in 2018 and through analysing their consumption information, Amelio were able to determine that a 49.88kWp system would help them to reduce their bills by around 40% per annum.
Amelio Solar Energy installed a solar PV system using JA Solar 460w panels and a 17kW SolarEdge inverter with a total capacity of 72kWp with an annual production of 70mWh. This has led to an annual saving of £4,800 (2023) and 16t/CO2e of annual carbon savings.
